Divine Chaos teaches a multi-level
beginning Tribal Fusion class. Technique is
emphasized, with all movements broken down by muscle groups used, then
drilled until strength and memory are built.
Every class covers a warm up, drill and review section, new combination, and leader/follower improvisational section. This class actively incorporates the strength and postures of ATS (American Tribal Style created and trademarked by Carolena Nericcio), belly dance along with alternative fusion.
DC Tribal Double Fan
Tuesdays 8:30-9:30pm
In this class we will cover basic fan technique such as how to hold and dance with fans as a prop. We will cover arm technique, dramatic poses, along with opening, closing and snapping fans. This class is suitable for all, fan fusion can offer a fun way to liven up your dance. This class includes steps and combinations designed to fit any style with layered movements, spins, and beautiful lines to emphasize grace, power, and precision. There will be several fun improvisational combos with cues and in the end…we will put it all together into a double fan choreography (time permitting).
A general understanding of Improvisational dance is recommended for this class, but otherwise, beginners through advanced are welcome.

Tuesdays 7:15-8:15pm
